Are Google organic clicks dropping for junk removal websites?
Clicks per impression are: in the top 10 results, a non-brand impression earned about 42% fewer clicks in July-September 2026 than in the same months of 2025. Total clicks still rose about 13% because the same websites showed up about 75% more often.

Is it AI Overviews?
Search Console doesn't report AI Overview appearances separately. The steepest drop is at position 1, which fits an AI Overview citation being counted as a top position while drawing few clicks.
Why a top position doesn't mean clicks
For local junk removal searches, Search Console position may reflect the map listings or an AI Overview citation rather than a regular result. Across the 11-13 sites with enough data at each position, a typical site at an average position of 1-3 gets well under 1 click per 100 non-brand impressions and the strongest get 2-4; the 9 longer-running sites in the table above do better than that.
